About 3 years ago, when the gold market started to spike, jewelry sales started to decline. We needed to do something to generate business, so we started advertising that WE BUY GOLD. It has been a true success. Having knowledge of all types of jewelry and also bringing in a full time coin expert, has given us an edge to the "buying" market. Recently, we've started buying antiques and collectibles and have a booth inside the Coxsackie Antique Center.
We try to work on volume so that we can offer the best price in town. We evaluate each item by the piece. We don't just melt every piece of beautiful or antique jewelry. It's worth more than just scrap to us. Before you bring your gold anywhere else, at least let us evaluate it and give you a price at no cost.
We are open Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and staying open until 6:00 p.m. on Thursdays. We also make house calls on Sundays by appointment outside the city of Albany.
